Coincidence = Supernatural ?

Hi Buddies, Why do people attribute coincidences to the supernatural ?... 

I believe we focus on the few times things coincide and look at those rare happenings as proof of the supernatural. We never ask ourselves how many events that failed to produce a coincidence. Millions of non-coinciding events every day never catch anyone's attention but when finally chance produces one, all our attention is drawn to it.
