The Rules.
The Chit Chat Bar is a a friendly place to go and chat with friends. Start a topic and talk about whatever is on your mind! Just be respectful and take the bullying, hatred, politics, religion, porn, and trolling somewhere else!
The Rules:
The following are not allowed on The Chit Chat Bar (TCCB):
- Targeted harassment or encouraging others to do so
- Spam
- Impersonation
- Direct threat of harm
- Posting personally identifiable information
- Inappropriate profile content
Targeted harassment or encouraging others to do so
The targeted and systematic harassment of people or fostering such behavior has no place on TCCB.
Posting someone else’s personal information, or photograph.
Spam
Examples include
- Comments posted in large quantities to promote a product or service,
- The exact same comment posted repeatedly to disrupt a thread.
- Following users multiple times
Impersonation
You may not impersonate others in a manner that does or is intended to mislead, confuse, or deceive others.
Direct threat of harm
This covers active threats of harm directed towards a specific person or defined group of individuals. Contact local authorities if you feel a crime has been committed or is imminent.
Posting personally identifiable information
Examples of protected information: credit card number, home/work address, phone number, email address, social security number. Real name isn’t currently covered.
Inappropriate profile content
Graphic media containing violence and pornographic content or that would violate the guidelines if they were in text are not allowed.
What to do when you see a rules violation
To report a user for a Basic Rules violation, click the flag icon in their profile and complete a short report.
You can also tag a site moderator.
